With our sizzling summer upon us, and more Valley visitors heading our way, Lanning, a Bryant Nagel Gallery in the heart of the Sedona Gallery District, opens its doors to a gallery-wide, summer-long celebration of its over fifty Contemporary artists. A 1st Friday reception on July 6th, from 5-8 pm, kicks off the special showcase.
Visitors can enjoy myriad lively animals interpreted in bronze: lots of rabbits, bears and birds, a moose, a burro, and more. Sculptures by Paul Braun capture his Neolithic influences in cool steatite totems while the soft palettes of Randall LaGro paintings bring his Surrealist aesthetic to intuitive and thought-provoking imagery. Randi Solin employs the fires of her kiln to produce internationally known hand-fired studio glass vessels and Cynthia Reid paints Impressionistic images with the warmth of flower fields and window boxes. Join the gallery to celebrate all its fine artists and kick off an art-filled summer.
“Summer Celebration 1” at Lanning, a Bryant Nagel Gallery, runs throughout July.
